PRESENTATION EVENING 3
FRIDAY 20th JANUARY 2012
Another great evening where pupils displayed some of their examination work for parents. This year we donated only ticket sales to charity as we did not have refreshments, all monies were donated to a charity that was a little more close to our hearts; Sands – The stillbirth and neonatal death charity.
This Charity is an organisation which offers support when a baby dies during pregnancy or after birth. Sands has 3 core aims and these are to support anyone affected by the death of a baby; to work in partnership with health professionals to improve the quality of care and services offered to bereaved families; and to promote research and changes in practice that could help to reduce the loss of babies lives.
Should you need the support of Sands please contact them by calling 020 7436 5881

This year Rianne Hawkins in our senior class suggested we help support a charity her mother and close family friends were involved with for Alzheimers in the under 50's.

This evening's choice of charity come from Tessy Hawkesford and family, one of our Friday pupils. Jasper's Rainbow has raised in excess of £12,000 to date and we are pleased to be able to add to their total this evening by donating ticket sales and money raised though a raffle - as always the parents, friends and family of the RND Academy of Dance pupils have been super generous.

PRESENTATION EVENING 10
SATURDAY 19th MARCH 2016
We had no nominations this year from parents so Rachael and Nichola decided to support ex-pupil Alicia Fielder in her bid to raise money, awareness and her very thoughtful and kind gesture of donating her hair to The Princess Trust. The charity make wigs for those children who have lost their hair to cancer and each wig costs approximately £350 to make. We are very proud to have helped Alicia raise over £600 for the charity.
Well done Alicia a super kind and thoughtful thing to do for those much less fortunate than ourselves and thank you once again to the RND pupils, parents, friends and family for helping us to raise money for such a worthy cause.

PRESENTATION EVENING 11
Saturday 8th March 2017
We had lots of nominations this year so therefore decided to allow the parents and pupils to vote for the charity they wanted most to support. The vote went overwhelmingly in the favour of The Birminghams Children's Hospital. Within a week of us hosting the presentation evening we heard news of an amazing challenge a former pupils was embarking on. Josie James had been a member of RND Academy of Dance for 2-3 years when unfortunaley on the day of our summer showcase, while playing in the park she was bitten on the face by a dog. Josie wanted to give something back to the hospital and staff who helpoed her with her recovery and decided to swim half a mile in a bid to raise money for The childrens hospital. We were delighted to be able to support both Josie and the hospital with our latest fundraising.
